Notting Hill
Our brief: the complete renovation, remodelling and extension of a 4-storey, mid-terrace property requiring serious and challenging complex structural and interior redesign work. Situated mid-terrace with neighbouring properties either side, and almost entirely occupying the available land footprint.
Vital underpinning works were necessary as the demolition of the existing rear extension, including part of the original rear house wall, front steps and vault took place. Structural renovations continued, with excavations to create a working basement space and 3-storey rear extension resulting in a small courtyard garden, and single storey rear extension to complement the main house.
The complete internal strip out paved the way for remodelling the accommodation; bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge/dining areas were redesigned to facilitate a more spacious and open plan living environment.
Striking, bespoke features include a vertical structural glass wall to the rear extension, a double glazed walkway on the roof glazing panels and customised joinery incorporated throughout the house. The highest specifications and attention to detail added to the overall interior design style and finish of this spacious, luxury town home.
